This site gives general information about the services of Surfside Capital Advisors and Surfside Human Capital Solutions, two separate companies. This website is operated by Surfside Capital Advisors LLC. Each company provides its own services. In these terms, “we” means whichever of Surfside Capital Advisors LLC and Surfside Human Capital Solutions LLC provides the page or service, and Surfside Capital Advisors LLC as the operator of the site. On a page that does not say which company provides it, “we” means Surfside Capital Advisors LLC, as the operator of the site.

No advice and no client relationship

What you read here is general information. It is not legal, tax, or investment advice, and it doesn’t take your situation into account.

Nothing on this site is an offer to sell, or a solicitation of an offer to buy, any security, and nothing on this site solicits investors for any company. Pages and articles are dated: laws, thresholds, and rates change, so check the date and ask your own adviser before relying on them.

Using this site, sending a message, or booking a consultation doesn’t make you a client. A client relationship starts only when you sign an engagement letter with the company that provides the service.

Talk to your own attorney, accountant, or other licensed adviser before you act on anything you read here. We work alongside them. We don’t replace them.

The free consultation

The 30-minute consultation is free and carries no obligation. You pay nothing, and you don’t have to sign or buy anything. You can change or cancel with the link in your confirmation email.

Please keep confidential details out of your messages. We handle what you tell us as our Privacy policy describes, and we have no other duty of confidentiality until you sign an engagement letter or a confidentiality agreement with the company that provides the service. If you want a confidentiality agreement before you share details, ask us.

These are the notices shown at the bottom of every page, and the line that says which company provides each service.

Our content

The text, design, images, and other content on this site belong to Surfside Capital Advisors LLC or Surfside Human Capital Solutions LLC, whichever provides the page, or are used with permission. Client names, logos, and quotes belong to the clients they come from. Pages that both companies use, such as the home page, About, and Contact, belong to Surfside Capital Advisors LLC, which operates the site, and Surfside Human Capital Solutions LLC uses them with its permission.

You may read, print, and share pages for your own personal use or your company’s internal use, as long as you keep our notices with them. Please don’t copy, republish, or sell our content without written permission.

Using the site

Please don’t:

• scrape or copy the site in a way that harms it or slows it down for others;

• attack the site, probe it for weaknesses, or try to get around its limits and checks;

• make false bookings: a name or email that isn’t yours, a time you don’t intend to keep, or a booking for someone else without their OK; or

• use the site to send spam or malware, or for anything unlawful.

We may block access or cancel a booking that breaks these rules.

Links to other sites

This site links to other sites, such as LinkedIn, and uses Zoom for calls. We don’t control those sites or services, and their own terms and policies apply when you use them. A link is not an endorsement.

No warranties and limits on liability

We work to keep this site accurate, but it is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We don’t promise that the site is complete, current, error-free, or always available. Nothing on this site is a promise of any result for your business.

To the extent the law allows, Surfside Capital Advisors LLC and Surfside Human Capital Solutions LLC (each only for the pages and services it provides) are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, that arise from your use of the site or your reliance on its content. For any other claim arising from the site, our total liability is limited to US$100. This section does not limit liability that the law does not allow to be limited, including liability for fraud or for willful or knowing violations of law. It covers the site only; the services you buy are governed by your engagement letter.

Governing law and where disputes are heard

These terms and any dispute about the site are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any lawsuit about the site must be brought in the state or federal courts located in Suffolk County, Massachusetts, and you and we consent to those courts. This site is for businesses in the United States. If you use it from another country, you are responsible for following your local law.

Engagement letter and the rest of these terms

If you become a client, the engagement letter governs the services and prevails over these terms if they conflict. If a part of these terms cannot be enforced, the rest stays in effect. Our Privacy policy and Cookie policy explain how we handle personal information.

Changes and languages

We may update these terms. When we do, we change the date at the top and note material changes on this page. If you keep using the site after a change, you accept the new terms. A change does not apply to a consultation you have already booked.

These terms are available in English and Spanish. The Spanish version is a courtesy translation. If the two versions differ, the English version controls.
